Before inserting the batteries, manually test the thumb turn and mechanical key. If the bolt does not move smoothly, check the alignment between the deadbolt and strike plate. Misalignment is the most common installation issue.
Yes.The KF-SP is designed for multi-user access and can store numerous fingerprints, PIN codes, RFID cards and app users simultaneously.
In most cases, yes. The KF-SP is designed to retrofit many standard doors. As long as your door meets the lock's compatibility requirements, you can replace your existing lock without replacing the entire door. We recommend checking the door thickness and lock preparation measurements before installation to ensure compatibility.
No. The KF-SP does not require a Wi-Fi connection for everyday operation. The lock can be unlocked and managed locally using fingerprints, PIN codes, RFID cards, mechanical keys, and Bluetooth through the Simpled App. Wi-Fi is only required if an optional gateway is used for remote access features.
